Functional exercise for near sight

(1) Eye exercises
1) Knead Tianying (ashi point):Knead Tianying (ashi point) gently with thumbs.

2) Squeeze and press Jingming (BL 1): Knead gently Jingming (BL 1) with one thumb, first press, then squeeze upward. Location: On the face, in the depression slightly above the inner canthus.

3) Knead Sibai (ST2): Press Sibai (ST2) with forefinger. Location: On the face, directly below the pulil, in the depression of the infraorbital foramen.

Functional exercise for gastroptosis

1) Take exercises positively such as walking, Qigong, Taiji, etc.
2) Exercise of abdominal muscle: keep a supine position and unbend the legs; raise them up and then put down; repeat the movements for several times; people also can simulate the movements of riding bikes; or take crouching after eating.

Health care methods for irregular menstruation, acupoints massage

External Medicine
1) Get moderate Yunnan Baiyao, white wine and mix them into a paste. Apply it on the navel and fix with tap. And people can warm the navel with hot-water bottle. Take it 2-3 times a day and each time is for 10-15 minutes. Refresh the paste every day and take it foe 3-5 days continuously.

2) Get 12g of semen brassicae and grind into powder. Mix it with rice vinegar into paste. Apply it on the acupoint of Yongquan (KI 1) on the foot and fix it with tap. Refresh it every day. Besides, people also can apply the acupoints of Guanyuanshu (BL 26) and Qihaishu (BL24).

3) Get moderate Yunnan Baiyao and apply it on the acupoints of Guanyuan and Qihai below the navel. Massage the acupoints until a sensation of fever is gained and spread into the abdomen. Take it continuously until the irregular menstruation is treated.

4) Get motherwort, rhizoma cyperi, frankincense, myrrh and selfheal. Each is 20g. Decoct them with 2000ml water and wash the feet with it. Each time for 10-15 minutes and take it 3-5 days continuously.

(2) Massage
1) Patients keep lying supine: (1) Finger-press the Qihaishu (BL24), Zhongji, Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao (SP6)Zusanli (ST 36)Xuehai (SP 10)Neiguan (PC6)Taichong (LR 3) and each for about half minute.(2) Massage: Doctor palm-massage around the patient’s navel from right to left for about 5 minutes.
2) Patients keep pronated:
(1) Finger-press the Shenshu (BL23)Pishu (BL20), Mingmen, Ganshu (BL 18) and Geshu (BL17). Each is for about 1 minute.

(2) To-and-fro rubbing: Place the palm on the lumbosacral portion and the acupoint of Baliao and do to–and-fro rubbing movements repeatedly until the skin turns slightly red and heat is gained. Take the massage with both hands alternatively and do it 10 days after the menstruation. Each a day until another menstruation circle starts again.

3) Knead and press the acupoint of Guanyuan: Keep the right fist half clenched. Extend the thumb and place it on the Guanyuan. Knead and press the acupoint of Guanyuan with moderate strength for 0.5-1 minute. It is helpful to nourish the liver and kidney, regulate menstruation and assuage pain.

4) Twist and rub the lumbosacral portion: Place the palms on the both sides of the lumbosacral portion separately then twist and rub it from up to down for 0.5-1minute until heat is gained. It is helpful to strong the waist and nourish the kidney, dredge the meridians and promote circulation of blood.

5) Knead and press the acupoint of Shenshu (BL23): With arms akimbo and press the acupoint of Shenshu on the same side with the thumb. And place other four gingers on the waist. Knead and press the Shenshu with moderate strength for 0.5-1 minute. It is helpful to warm and invigorate the kidney-yang, strong the waist and strength bones.

6) Knead and press the acupoint of Zusanli (ST 36): Overlap the forefinger on the middle finger then place it on the acupoint of Zusanli on the same side. Knead and press the Zusanli with moderate strength for 0.5-1 minute. Take it on both lower limbs alternatively. It is helpful to nourish the spleen and stomach, harmonize qi and blood.

Functional exercise for deafness

(1) Massage auricles, lift and pinch the earlobe, massage Fengchi. What're the folk recipes for constipation

(1) Take one or two bananas and daub them with honey after taking off the pericarp, and then take the banana on an empty stomach in the morning before drinking 200-300ml warm water.

(2) Mix milk powder(60g),coffee(5g)and warm water(200ml) together and then put them into the refrigerator. Take them once daily.

(3) Take 30g of semen juglandis and semen sesami nigrum respectively and smash them. Take them once daily with boiled water and empty stomach.

(4) Smash 50g tomato and then take the juice, then add some honey into the juice, take them on an empty stomach in every morning.

(5) Put tofukasu(50g)and warm water(200ml) into a glass bottle, and then add honey and lemon juice, mix them by spoon. Take them once daily.
